Residency Program

Dr. Goldman currently serves as Program Director for the Integrated Family Practice/Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and NMM Plus One (ONMM2) Residency Programs at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI.

The Integrated Family Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Residency Program at Botsford Hospital is a four-year program that provides the resident with a combination of training in Family Practice (FP) and Neuromuscular Medicine (NMM). In addition to the Family Practice curriculum, residents also have four months of OMM rotations each year. This program provides an additional year of training beyond the requirements of the ACOFP and meets AOA requirements for both FP and NMM certification.

The NMM Plus One/ONMM2 Residency Program is a one-year program that provides training in NMM and meets the requirements for NMM certification. Its goal is to provide additional training in NMM for those residents who have previously completed their postdoctoral training in an AOA approved specialty.

Our didactics are an integral part of both programs. There are weekly FP and OMM lectures, including a monthly anatomy lecture given by an anatomy professor.

Both residency programs are part of the Statewide Campus System through the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM). This affiliation provides residents with a unique opportunity to receive monthly hands-on and didactic training with all of the member hospitals and MSUCOM.
